Last year I became a late bloomer basketball fan when I attended the Sydney Kings season final. I've now waited eagerly for the season to start again so I can really get into it. Last Friday the Sydney Kings won their 1st Home game of the season GO BOYS. I had the pleasure of attending their Season Launch Party, and covering it for 2dayfm's 'The Dirt'. I grabbed interviews with singer and dancer Timomatic who I asked about his awesome shoe collection. Seriously, the dude rocks a fresh new pair of awesome kicks every time I see him! I also interviewed Xfactor Band and cuties "What about tonight', who have hundreds of teenage girls crying about them none stop im sure. Aswell as them, I also interviewed Dan Ewing and Marnie Little, who are Kings ambassadors and good friends (hottest couple in Sydney if you ask me).
I've never really wholeheartedly supported a sporting team, I've watched the NRL now and then and enjoy a good game, but have never been a full blown supporter of any team... but that's about the change! This Basketball Season I am dedicating myself to the Kings, yep I am going to be the crazy blonde on the side lines screaming like a soccer mum, looks like i need to invest in a purple jersey :)
