Myer Spring Summer

Last week I went to see Myer's spring summer 12/13 collection hit the runway.  

The show kicked off with Myer ambassadors Kris Smith and Jennifer Hawkins leading the way with some of Australia's top models to follow.  The top trends for the major department store where hard to miss with Peplum dress's and tops are still a strong look for the coming season, prints on print, pastels were also a huge hit with clothes that look like they have been scooped from a gelato bar. Metallic's and sequins are also around, Statement collars are making a comeback (which is awesome because i am already a fan) and Asymmetrical hemlines have changed up the idea of the summer dress. 

Aside from watching the runway and planning a way to hijack the clothes racks post show, i spent the evening working for 2dayfm's the Dirt interviewing the bevy of celebrities that turned out for the new collections. And before you ask, yes Jennifer Hawkins is as beautiful, charming and infectiously down to earth in person as she is made out to be. Check out the video above.
