THE Abby dress.


 It's white crisp with strategic straight lines of blue and black, a slight sleeve and permanent pleats that sit perfectly over you hips catching the breeze. Yep...it's elegance if I have ever seen it. Oh Rachel Gilbert you had me at hello. The Abby dress is part of Rachel's spring summer 2012 collection and is available in June...worth the wait!

 I wore it at day 4 of MBFWA and I have never had so many compliments! I never wear white, I am just too much of a grub but fashion week's all about pulling out those dream numbers and taking a risk. My risk here was more a challenge... Could I Rochelle Fox the messiest girl in the world go the whole day without completely ruining a white dress and not spill ice cream or tea all down it. The answer is Yes I can! It just took a few more strategically placed napkins than usual [;)]

Day 4 at fashion week was a busy one. I attended AJE's debut at fashion week at the Paspaley showroom my favourite show to date, I stalked celebs, and designers to interviews for 2dayfm's 'the dirt' and dragged my crew and photographer Josh Hedge to the Opera house at the GOLDEN HOUR to capture the above shots of the Abby 
dress. 

I wore my new suede Sanford nude Tony Bianco platforms that have a great gold platform detail and ankle strap and my Arnette interchangeable frames which has been my 'go to' sunnies at fashion week. I love the above shots. I have left them unedited and raw. 
Life isn't always about perfecting everything, rather capturing a moment and embracing all it's imperfections.
