Nothing is more special than recognising the achievements of women in your industry... It's inspiring to say the least seeing what other women have done and created. That's why I was very honoured to be able to attend ( as media ) Instyle's Audi woman of the year awards. With categories ranging from beauty to people's choice, it was a room full of talented, smart, educated, and equally stunning women that have each made there mark in their chosen fields.
My job for the night was to grab celebrities for 2dayfm's the Dirt talking about style. I spoke to Riki-Lee who is looking BANGING I must say, Daniel MacPherson who was Mr. handsome in the room wearing a Herringbone suit and my old mate Jesinta Campbell who is always a doll. You can listen to the interviews above [:)] I'ts nights like these that make me love my Job even more. Instyle's PR and publicity team were a dream to work with, it was such a well orchestrated event.
Now what I wore....Because the night was all about STYLE, I tried to pull a rabbit out of a hat and do something a little more classy than my usual attire...I wore a floor length Rachel Gilbert dress from her 'yet to be released' spring summer range. (I am lucky to be on good terms with Rachel and her PR Sweaty Betty, they always go above and beyond to help me look the part for events [:)] I Loved this Rivena maxi, it's elegant, comfortable, and the prints are just amazing. I teamed it with Tresor Paris stacked crystal bracelets in orange, blue, and green with matching green earings. My hair which was a 'wow' factor of this look was done by Kevin McKenzie's team. It's a soft quif swept back and folded into a french like roll. I never do up 'do's, I've always been scared of them but after this look, I feel that I could experiment a little more. They did such a good job!
