Josh Hedge photography

Wearing Dress- Wayne cooper    Cape- The Story Of   Boots- The Story Of   Leather Jacket- Hunt no more Easy rider  Frames-AM EYEWEAR

Josh Hedge photography is something you would have seen alot of on A Fox That Meows lately and I think it's about time you all knew a little bit more about the kid behind the lens. Josh is from Port Macquarie and is chilled 20 year old that spends most his time chasing light, shooting surf, sand, and skateboards for his tumblr. Before shooting a bunch of my outfit posts for yours truly, Josh had never shot fashion in his life!!! (yep hard to believe). But he gets it. He loves it and more importantly he has passion and wants to LEARN all about it.

We shot the above pics at Port Macquarie, a town located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia. I got layered up in a black and white shift dress, a cape with leather jacket ( That I could sleep in hunt no more this one is such a winner) Nothing beats layers of black and white. It is simplistic and works from day to night. I gave Josh all the creative control on this particular outfit, the result was black and white magic in his local Woolworth's carpark. I think we made some fans, the trolly guy was a bit perplexed as to why the hell I was in heels and dressed up for a night on the town while posing against a brick wall at the Local supermarket! Trendy costal house wife moment anyone?

Three weeks after shooting for my blog, a lot has happened for Josh. He just won the Estate of Mind photography competition with one of the sunrise shoots we shot, which you can see HERE. As a result, he will now be shooting the cult Sydney boutiques' winter campaign. He's just been accredited to be my A Fox That Meows photographer at MBFW. So you will see lots of him with me at Australia Fashion week [:)] And this week I am shooting with him again for my cousin's Label Zipporra and it's spring summer 2012 campaign.

Shooting with creative creatures like Josh is what I love about blogging, I am super proud of you Josh there lots more exciting things to come! x

  6. Josh is really talented. I love the framing of these pictures. I think finding a place in the frame where the outfit, model and the background work in tandem is really difficult - but he seems to do it very well.

I really like the different takes at different angles. It's interesting how different a brick wall can look when shot from different directions.

Your modeling is stunning, as well! Overall, this is a really well put together post - and I'm excited to read more from you :)

  12. I went to Doll House to get my dress and they promised they would get it in. I was so upset when they didn’t come through for me so I went Sassy Boutique. They were able to get my dress within three 3 days. They had wonderful customer service and nothing was a problem for them. I really appreciated the effort they made to make my night memorable. i will never go to dollhouse again.
